There are very few circumstances in which you should need to troubleshoot your Caretaker 99 Plus. For all situations including dirty spots, issues with pop-up cleaning heads and the water valve, be sure to check that the pressure on the filter system is not reading too high, requiring cleaning of the filter or backwashing, all skimmer and pump baskets are clean and free of debris, and all valves are open to the correct position within your plumbing. - Why does a cleaning head pop up but not push anything around?
If a cleaning head is popping up but no water is coming out there may be debris stuck in the nozzle of the cleaning head. Remove the cleaning head from its collar (only able to be removed while in down position). Allow the system to run 2 complete cycles. - Why won't the cleaning head pop up?
On occasion debris can get lodged down in the collar containing the cleaning head. If possible, remove the cleaning head (only able to be removed while in down position) and inspect for any debris.
